The Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (IAEI) Türkiye continues to strengthen the global presence of Indonesian Islamic economists as it prepares for SAKİNAH TÜRKİYE 2026: Global Forum on Islamic Finance. The international forum is designed to bring together academics, policymakers, industry leaders, regulators, and practitioners from around the world to discuss contemporary issues and future directions in Islamic economics and finance.
As part of these preparations, IAEI Türkiye has invited the Central Board of IAEI to take part in several key moments of the forum. Among them is the delivery of a Keynote Address and the official opening of SAKİNAH TÜRKİYE 2026, a moment expected to strengthen the forum's standing as a strategic platform for advancing Islamic economics and finance at both national and international levels.
Another milestone set to take place during the forum is the official inauguration of IAEI Türkiye. The ceremony marks an important step in establishing IAEI Türkiye as a strategic bridge connecting Indonesian scholars, professionals, and students based in Türkiye with the broader global Islamic economics and finance community, while extending IAEI's international reach and influence.
IAEI Türkiye is also working to strengthen the Islamic economic and financial ecosystem through strategic engagement with universities, research institutions, policymakers, industry players, and other key stakeholders in Türkiye. Given Türkiye's growing role in the global Islamic economy, stronger institutional linkages are expected to open the door to meaningful cooperation in research, education, policy dialogue, talent development, and knowledge exchange.
To support the successful implementation of SAKİNAH TÜRKİYE 2026 and the inauguration of IAEI Türkiye, IAEI Türkiye is also seeking institutional support and strategic partnership from the Central Board of IAEI. As a large-scale international initiative with broad academic and professional engagement, the forum calls for substantial organizational and operational resources — alongside continued collaboration in research, publication, professional development, and international networking.
IAEI Türkiye believes that closer synergy with the Central Board of IAEI will serve as a catalyst for strengthening Indonesia's contribution to the global development of Islamic economics and finance, while creating long-term opportunities that benefit scholars, practitioners, and institutions in both Indonesia and Türkiye.
