The Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (IAEI) Türkiye conducted a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ankara, as part of efforts to introduce the organization as a platform for academic collaboration and professional engagement in Islamic economics and finance. During the meeting, IAEI Türkiye presented preliminary findings from its research on Indonesia–Türkiye economic cooperation, with particular focus on the implementation of the Indonesia–Türkiye Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IT-CEPA).
The discussion explored a range of opportunities for future collaboration, including the preparation of feasibility studies, policy briefs, and applied research to support investment, trade, and broader economic cooperation between Indonesia and Türkiye.
IAEI Türkiye expressed sincere appreciation for the warm welcome and valuable insights shared by the Embassy. The constructive discussion further strengthened IAEI Türkiye's commitment to contributing to bilateral cooperation through research, knowledge exchange, and evidence-based policy recommendations.
